||School Secretary, Continuing Education
||Reporting to the Director, Continuing Education, this position provides a comprehensive range of support services necessary to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Department of Continuing Education in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences serving both full-time and part-time students. Specifically, this position will: provide secretarial support to Administrators, Program Coordinators and faculty; respond to general inquiries regarding CE programming; and deal with a variety of student requests and concerns. This position requires the candidate to work evenings until 7pm and on Saturdays every other semester.
||The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a two year college diploma, (Business Administration or equivalent preferred), with a minimum two years of related experience which demonstrates familiarity with general office operations and procedures. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills. Must possess excellent computer skills including, MS Office plus, and knowledge of Photoshop is preferred. Experience in a post-secondary institution will be considered an asset.
||The CE Secretary will rotate between two shifts, working one shift each semester. The two shifts will be as follows:
Shift 1: Monday –Thursday 10:30am – 7pm, Friday 10:30am – 4:30pm
Shift 2: Tuesday –Thursday 9:30am -6pm, Friday 9am- 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 2:30pm
