||Director, Professional & Continuing Education
||Working with the Dean and Associate Deans of the School of Applied Technology, the successful candidate is responsible for: the growth and development of Continuing Education at Carrier & North; managing existing workforce development contracts; and increasing the number of online courses in Continuing Education and day courses. The incumbent is also responsible for supervising, developing, motivating, and evaluating the staff and faculty involved in continuing education; dealing with student, faculty, and staff issues and concerns; and establishing collegial processes that ensure for the provision of the appropriate academic and student services. The Director is accountable for Post-Secondary and Continuing Education marketing for the school. This position will involve evenings and weekends.
||The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience, preferably in a technical field, as well as several years of progressive administrative experience and teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Experience in training delivery, curriculum development, occupational analysis, proposal writing, and presentations will be considered an asset.
