||#2013-058 Professors, Practical Nursing/Personal Support Worker
||Primarily, the successful candidate will teach and guide learning, establish an effective learning environment, assess student progress and achievement, facilitate curriculum development and revision, and work as an effective team member. The incumbents will also be responsible for; engaging in inter-professional scholarly teaching activities; maintaining strong links with professional associations and practice settings; supervising clinical placement activities, counselling students; and participating on School of Health Sciences and Humber committees.
||The successful candidate will have a graduate credentials in Nursing. The individual is required to have a minimum of five years of teaching experience, and be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. The position requires a high level of understanding of, and competency in, the teaching/learning of the profession with a learner centered approach; a demonstrated commitment to team and interdisciplinary collaboration; a primary health care philosophy and innovative educational approach; and superior interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation and communication skills.
