||#2013-016 Advancement Research Officer
||Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer & Director of Alumni Relations the Advancement Research Officer will be responsible for researching, collecting and compiling background materials, research profiles, briefings and proposal materials to support advancement activities. The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a prospect tracking system as well as ensuring the accuracy of the information maintained within. The Advancement Research Officer is responsible for maintaining and tracking all biographic information on alumni, donors, potential supporters as well as actively supporting the identification of major gifts prospects. Along with briefing memos including strategies for stewardship, cultivation and solicitation the Advancement Research Officer will provide administrative support to the Chief Advancement Officer, Manager Strategic Partnerships & Relationships and Advancement Officer.
||The successful candidate will possess at minimum a 3 year diploma or degree in Library Science or related field as well as 3 years working experience. The candidate will be an analytical thinker with the ability to change strategy easily. The incumbent will possess proven communication and negotiation skills and the ability to accurately track and present findings. Preference will be given to those with a fund-raising background.
