||#2013-010 Assistant Program Head, Media Studies
||Under the general direction of the Program Head, the incumbent supports the Program Head by providing academic and administrative leadership as required. Administrative duties include assisting with staffing, budgets, recruitment and student life activities, and liaising with both University of Guelph and Humber College. Academic duties include teaching and curriculum development. The incumbent is also required to act as program head when required. This position also holds particular responsibility for ensuring that the professional and academic components of the program are respected and promoted in each of the institutions.
||The successful candidate will possess a graduate degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in a related field of study (e.g. Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations), along with a minimum of three years of related post-secondary teaching experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrated administrative experience and superior communication skills.
