||#2013-042 Professor, Tourism and Hospitality Management - Event Planning
||Individuals with an appropriate academic preparation, experience and interest in Event Planning, are invited to apply for this opportunity to teach in our Tourism and Hospitality Management – Event Planning program. Incumbent will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses including but not limited to Event Design and Planning, Event Marketing, Food and Beverage Management, Public Relations and Risk Management.
||The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree (PhD preferred), along with a minimum of ten years’ experience in the hospitality and /or tourism event planning industry. CMP designation preferred. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching ability, an understanding of the learning process, significant experience in curriculum development and be dedicated to student success. Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
