||Secretary/ Program Assistant
||The incumbent will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative assistance to the Director of Professional Development, as well as the Professional Development consultants and staff in the Centre for Teaching and Learning. The incumbent will be responsible for the coordinating of logistics and support of meetings, workshops and conferences; office organization; maintenance of records along with responding to personal, electronic and telephone inquiries regarding program policies and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent works in a department that interacts with Humber faculty and staff college-wide, as a result; the pace is fast, the clients diverse and the profile high.
||The successful candidate will possess a two year diploma in Business Administration or equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of experience working in an office environment. The preferred candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision as they are the sole service administrator. Additionally, evidence of progressive responsibility in previous jobs with strong interpersonal and customer service skills is essential. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills specifically in the use of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a college environment as significant contact with other departments is required.
