Title Advancement and Alumni Relations Assistant
Position Summary The Advancement and Alumni Relations Assistant provides high level confidential administrative support and coordination toward the priorities of the Chief Advancement Officer and Director of Alumni Relations including electronic calendar support and meeting coordination. The incumbent acts as the first point of contact for the CAO/DAR and responds to the internal and external inquiries on a wide range of issues regarding Advancement and Alumni Relations. Duties also include: all internal college resourcing, budget reconciliation, facilitation of invoice payments, proofing of contracts, agreements, draft agendas, meeting minutes, donor letter request etc. The incumbent will also support major gifts strategic initiatives and alumni relations. The Advancement and Alumni Relations Assistant will lead in responding to office organizational needs and the implementing of administrative procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the office.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess at minimum a 2 year college diploma or degree in Business Administration. The candidate will be a self-starter, able to efficiently coordinate and prioritize work flow in a fast paced, confidential environment with little supervision and guidance. The incumbent will be expected to communicate confidently with all levels of the organization. Preference will be given to those with a fund-raising background.
