Title #2013-009 Scheduling Manager
Position Summary Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Fees, Reporting and Scheduling, the Scheduling Manager is accountable for managing the delivery of a variety of services for the department, the College and students including course scheduling, space planning and managing classroom inventory in collaboration with Facilities Management. The Manager of Scheduling is also responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Central Scheduling Office and working closely with the Schools on meeting the scheduling timelines for each term. The Scheduling Manager is accountable for reporting on space and seat utilization to the College community each term as well as identifying, documenting and communicating any issues and changes regarding scheduling and utilization patterns. The Scheduling Manager is also responsible for working with Facilities Management in reporting the COFSI report each year and other related reports. This role is also responsible for the administration and updating of the operational Scheduling Policy, guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a 4 year undergraduate university degree in Information Management, Business and/or Administrative Studies or the equivalent in education, training and experience. The incumbent will also possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in scheduling in a College or University setting. In addition, the incumbent must also possess problem resolution, presentation and management skills. Knowledge of relational databases, and Data Analysis Tools would be an asset.
