||#2012-262 Liaison Coordinator
||Under the direction of the Manager, Recruitment, the Liaison Coordinator ensures that the University of Guelph-Humber meets undergraduate enrolment targets by generating a strong and viable applicant pool in an increasingly competitive environment through student recruitment outreach programs. As outlined in the duties and responsibilities, the Liaison Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development of the Liaison Officer Training Program, Outreach, Recruitment Strategies and Programs. This position is a strategic component of the University’s overall enrolment strategy and is a significant contributor to the public image of the University. There are significant evening and weekend hours of work and may involve extensive travel (including out-of town). This position requires a valid drivers license.
||The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a four year university degree or equivalent along with a minimum of two to three years of experience working in admissions and/or recruitment in a post-secondary environment. An understanding of entrance requirements and/or career opportunities is a significant asset. Additional qualifications include: strong organizational skills, computer skills, responsibility for independent decision making; have excellent oral presentation and written communication skills; sound judgement; superior customer service and conflict resolution skills; the ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast paced, student centred environment; multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize appropriately in order to meet deadlines.
