||Humber’s School of Applied Technology offers a broad range of programs in the areas of Design, Engineering Technology, IT, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. With a focus on the career success of our students, the School helps connect students and/or graduates with employers through work terms, graduate placement assistance, guest speakers and career networking events.
Several opportunities exist for professionals to make a contribution to student employment success.
We are currently seeking Advisors to help further the development of relationships with employers by identifying job opportunities and coordinating career-related events such as networking events and guest speakers. In addition, we are seeking Advisors to support students during the placement process by facilitating job search workshops, providing resume feedback and conducting practice interview sessions as well as arranging job interviews.
||Requirements of the position include a degree or diploma in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent, with excellent relationship building and client service skills. Prior experience in placement or business development would be ideal, along with a staffing background and/or interest in the fields of engineering technology, manufacturing, IT or Supply Chain Management. The ability to balance multiple priorities, and strong communication and computer skills, are required for success.
