Title Continuing Education Coordinator
Position Summary Under the general direction of the Director, the incumbent supports the delivery of part-time credit, non-credit, general interest and career oriented programs, courses, seminars and workshops for the Continuing Education Department. The incumbent contributes to the overall success of the CE Department in the School of Applied Technology by providing excellent customer service to the college community. The incumbent will coordinate both classroom and online courses; respond appropriately to student enquiries; monitor course enrolment; add extra sections and record course cancellations; prepare reports on enrolment and revenue; and provide input for the Continuing Education calendar. In addition, the incumbent maintains a database to track students, exam schedules, test re-writes, marks and payments; coordinating contracts, payroll records, class lists and room bookings; and general support such as photocopying, supply requisitions, media bookings, book orders, voicemail and email.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a diploma or degree in applied technology, adult education or business administration. The candidate will also have a minimum of 3 years of related experience; working in leadership, event planning, adult education, and/or teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will possess superior customer services skills; good knowledge of general office procedures; and extensive experience working with MS Office Suite.
