||#2013-021 Purchasing Clerk
||Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing Services and Sustainability the Purchasing Clerk provides general administrative and secretarial support to the Purchasing Services and Sustainability department. Some specific duties and responsibilities include; working with Financial Services to ensure that purchase order paperwork is complete and that accounts are sufficiently funded for payment, researching missing data on new vendor request forms, preparation and maintenance of purchasing documents, secretarial duties and preparing monthly log reports.
||The successful candidate will possess a 2 year diploma in office administration or purchasing/business and must have completed or be enrolled in a course by PMAC. In addition, a minimum of 2 years procurement experience in a large, complex, corporate environment is required. Other qualifications include a working knowledge of email software, word processing and spreadsheet programs, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and highly developed customer service/conflict resolution abilities.
