||#2013-040 Student Support Services Officer
||Reporting to the Business Manager, the Student Support Services Officer supports post-secondary and apprenticeship programs in the School of Applied Technology. Specific duties of this role include: providing front line services to students, staff and external clients; providing administrative support to the Associate Dean, Program Coordinators and Faculty; maintaining student records and providing backup recruitment and intake support to Apprenticeship Liaisons. The incumbent is also the key point of contact for external partners, primarily school boards, to assist in arranging student campus visits and informational workshops. The Student Support Services Officer also assists in organizing college open houses and represents the School at external recruitment events. The incumbent is responsible for all activities relating to the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.
||The successful candidate will possess at minimum a 2 year diploma or equivalent in Business Administration or similar focus area as well as 3-5 years of demonstrated administrative support experience. Excellent customer services skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, well developed Microsoft Office skills and an understanding of the Apprenticeship system required.
