Position Overview

What to Expect as a Peoplesoft System Specialist?


As a Peoplesoft Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the support of implementations for customers integrating Talent Technology products within a  PeopleSoft environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a number of interesting Customer implementations projects and get hands on experience using new Cloud based Integrations.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Requirements and Design activities for customer system integrations, primarily between Talemetry and their recruiting ERP modules (such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP) using Talent Technology’s Connector
  • Performance of technical implementation tasks to deliver  and support system integration, including installations, configuration and mapping, technical testing and trouble-shooting of web-services, flat-file and real-time integrations.
  • Where required, supervision or development of customizations in ERP module code in support of integration requirements
  • Collaboration with partner team members, when required on a joint implementation project.
  • Delivery of standard Talemetry product configuration in deployment of the cloud solutions.
  • Provision of training or knowledge transfer in the integration configuration process to the client.
  • Supporting various department internal initiatives, such as client programs and process improvements, and assuming diverse internal tasks as assigned.
  • Provision of escalated technical support for the Talent Technology products when required
  • Provision of system implementation and rollout support

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years experience working in a PeopleSoft development environment with all of the following:
    - PeopleSoft 8.9 or above
    - PeopleSoft Integration Broker
    - Integrating Oracle Enterprise and e-Business applications with various formats including flat-file (CSV), XML, and SOAP.
    - Customizing complex Application Packages
    - Web-services, SOAP, and WSDL.
    - Working knowledge of PIA, App & Process Scheduler Servers and full architecture options
    - Oracle & MSSQL Server database SQL
  • Client-facing experience while working for PeopleSoft/Oracle or consulting firm
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
  • Ability to work with and enhance complex, highly integrated enterprise applications.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and develop technical solutions to internal and external systems.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and ability to trace code
  • Ability to lead others and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable:

  • Technical or Functional experience with HCM, Recruiting, TAM & Candidate Gateway
  • Expanded functional AND technical knowledge of the Vendor Integration for Resume Processing, Pre-Employment Check, Job Board
  • Postings
  • Programming experience w/ SOAP, XML
  • Client-facing experience while working for PeopleSoft/Oracle or consulting firm
  • Other ERP Experience (SAP, iRec, Taleo, Lawson, JDE)
