Title Accounts Payable Clerk - YLW
Position Overview The Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Senior Accountant and is responsible for coding, posting, payment processing and filing of invoices.
Responsibilities • Manage ERP Purchase Order invoices
• Coding of invoices
• Post invoices for payment
• Spreadsheet creation and updating
• Sort new invoices daily
• New vendor file creation
• Vendor analysis for purchasing/inventory
• Weekly cheque runs
• Daily manual cheques
• Month end closing
• Review of statements
• Data entry
• Filing
Requirements • Post-Secondary education complimented by one year of proven Accounting experience and/or related   work experience
• High level Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills
• Able to organize, prioritize and multitask
• Work well in a high volume fast paced environment with deadlines
• Experience with ERP systems would be an asset
