Responsibilities of this fast-paced role include providing exceptional sales and administrative support to three sales teams. This will include a lot of work on the phone; booking and confirming sales meetings, answering related calls and enquiries; as well as preparing meeting agendas and reports, reviewing monthly budget numbers, distributing sales materials, and coordinating special regional events.
As the ideal candidate for this role you have exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and pride yourself on your relationship building abilities. Previous administrative and/or customer service experience is required; within the finance industry is an asset but not mandatory. Ideally you have experience in a sales capacity, and/or an interest in sales and developing your career. You have excellent organizational skills, and you are someone who takes initiative and enjoys working independently in support of the team’s goals. Experience in mutual fund business or brokerage/financial planning is an asset, as is a CSC or IFIC designation. You also have excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
