| Position Description |
Status: Temporary Part Time Job Description:
2D is an in-patient Mental Health unit that supports the recovery of the acutely ill patient. The Mental Health Team is committed to delivering the highest quality of care in a safe, therapeutic environment.
The interdisciplinary team works together with patients and families to provide an assessment and develop a treatment plan that works towards recovery. The interdisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, psychologist, pharmacist, social workers, occupational therapists and nursing staff.
Goal setting continues on an individual and team basis within a primary nursing model of care Qualifications: - Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing and preferably hold a Baccalaureate degree
- Current certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- At least two years psychiatric experience, particularly in the areas of assessment and group therapy
- Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
