| Position Description |
Job Description: The successful candidate will deliver routine and emergency respiratory therapeutics and diagnostics to patients based on information obtained from clinical assessments; determine the most appropriate intervention or therapy based on the results of a clinical assessment; interact with all members of the patient care team; airway and ventilator management; monitoring and maintenance of equipment; blood gas analysis and interpretation. Qualifications: - Graduate from a recognized Respiratory Therapy Program
- A member in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario and the Canadian Board for Respiratory Care
- Current BCLS required
- Current NRP required
- Current PALS and ACLS preferred
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work well under pressure especially in emergency situations
- Satisfactory attendance and performance are required
