| Position Description |
Job Description: The physiotherapist will be accountable for the assessment of patients in the critical care department referred by the physician to Physiotherapy Services with physical dysfunction of the musculo-skeletal, neurophysiological or cardio-pulmonary systems. Also included are the planning and implementation of treatment and/or education programs to improve function and/ or prevent disability, as well as recording and communicating findings to team members. Qualifications: - The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Physiotherapy
- Registration with the College of Physiotherapy and eligibility and/or membership with the C.P.A. is required
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous clinical experience in acute care
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness working independently as well as liaising with community resources
