Position Description Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all technical activities required to ensure safe and efficient operation of the hospital's dialysis equipment. A good knowledge of special water systems for hemodialysis is essential. This will include all aspects of the maintenance of Reverse Osmosis and De-ionization of special water systems, including bacterial and pyrogen testing in accordance with the CSA standards. Candidates may be required to rotate between the CVH site, Renal Care Centre and Mississauga Hospital. Evening and weekend work is required.
Educational Qualifications:
  •  A diploma from a recognized community college specializing in Engineering and/or Dialysis technology.
  •  Applicants with experience in repair and routine maintenance of hemodialysis machines, particularly the Fresenius 5008, will be given preference.
  • Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.
