Position Description



  • Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing and preferably hold a Baccalaureate degree.
  • Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of two years obstetrical experience is preferred, specifically in Birthing Suite, or possess an Obstetrical certificate from an accredited institution. 
  • Preference will be given to those individuals who have O.R. experience, a current B.C.L.S., Fetal Health Surveillance certification and Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
  • 18 hour Breastfeeding Course preferred
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance required.
  • Candidates must be able to work 12 hour day/night shift rotation.
