Position Summary
Position: Regional Sales Director, Business Development 
Location: Mississauga, ON
  • We're looking for a highly motivated and proven business development specialist to make significant impact and growth in the Ontario Senior Living market.
  • This person is an individual contributor and will play a key senior contributor role in a growth-oriented market through a broad range of self-directed market needs-analysis, consultative selling and marketing initiatives.
  • The Director Business Development reports to the Vice President, Sales

  • Using our highly sophisticated sales management framework, you will be expected to work with the sales team to understand client’s needs and articulate the opportunity and benefits of engaging Compass to provide them with innovative solutions.
  • Sell the Compass Group Canada's complete service offering to Senior Living accounts.
  • Leverage Compass' significant resources to strategically initiate, manage and develop customer relationships.
  • Lead or develop service solutions and promote the company's service value proposition to differentiate Compass from competitors and provide increased value to customers.
  • Identify and manage significant up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within a broad service offering.
  • Drive each element of the services sales cycle including prospecting initiatives, proposals, RFP responses, and closing sales.
  • Develop effective, creative and customized proposals and presentations to bundle service offerings that effectively convey the Company's capabilities.

Required: (please only apply if you meet all required qualifications):
  • Proven track-record in successful B2B (business to business) sales
  • Strong business acumen and expert negotiation skills
  • Experience working with a structured sales management methodology
  • Superior relationship management and ability to establish contacts and credibility with senior level management buyers
  • Experience developing financial projections to support complex, long term contracts
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team on major projects.
  • Possess valid driver’s licence 
  • Previous experience in Senior Living or food service & hospitality is strongly preferred
