Position Summary


Position: Cashier  
Location: Brownlee Building - Edmonton
Overview:  We are searching for Full Time Cashiers to work at the Brownlee Building Cafeteria in downtown Edmonton. The unit is open 5 days per week from 6:30am - 3:30pm.  
Handling cash transactions, retail merchandising, stocking all beverage and food displays and fridges, and providing superior customer satisfaction.
  • Take, prepare and serve customers
  • Cashiering duties
  • May be required to open or close the unit
  • Ensure that station is always manned and supplies are fully stocked
  • General equipment and facility cleaning
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
Required: (please only apply if you meet all required qualifications):
  • Customer service experience
  • Cash experience
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
