Our Cineplex Media division located at 102 Atlantic Avenue, Toronto, ON M6K 1X9 has an immediate opening for the position of Production Assistant, Out of Home Special Media, reporting to the Production Manager, Out of Home Special Media.
 
The key areas of responsibilities of this position include:
 
  • Assist the needs of the department with production duties assigned by the Manager
  • Tailor Out of Home proposal templates to assist Sales team’s Out of Home pitches, driving future business at properties represented by Cineplex across Canada
  • Actively co-ordinate logistical support for multiple elements of creative including work-back schedules for creative deadlines, steward supplier crews through multiple installation and removal dates in support of client Out of Home campaigns
  • Follow up on customized production quote news with sales rep as required
  • Review related contract and/or internal changes as necessary with CRM team and Sales rep
  • Ensure inventory availability information is reviewed as promptly as possible with Sales team.
  • Ensure documentation for each campaign is fully in place and follow up report is prepared with photo documentation for each Out of Home Special Media campaign activation
  • Step-in (as assigned), to either liaise on approvals with Out of Home key stakeholders and/or initiate quotes with supplier(s)
  • Ensure information pertaining to insurance for any Out of Home Special Media activation requiring coverage, is provided to sales rep and or client in a timely fashion
  • Other duties as assigned
 
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or equivalent
  • Core tasks of this job involve assisting an active Sales team in driving Out of Home business opportunities in numerous properties across Canada
  • Strong level of self-confidence. Supportive team player, willing to see tasks through layers of detail to meet contracted start and end dates
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
