The Groups and Events department is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Group Sales Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, Group Sales.
The key areas of responsibility for this position include:
  • Respond to all incoming group sales inquiries (i.e. phone, email, fax, web, etc.) and conduct outbound calls to generate new business.
  • Book events for schools and other groups and refer corporate inquiries to Regional Account Managers.
  • Assist Group Sales Manager with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports for each booking and maintain excellent communication with the field.
  • Assist the Manager, Group Sales to execute group sales awareness programs (i.e. direct mail, fax blasts, phone calls).
  • Manage customer database and ensure that all records are up-to-date.
  • Maintain timely sales reporting to Group Sales Manager.
The ideal candidates will be detail oriented and have excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. It is essential that the individual can work well in a team environment and has the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Strong knowledge of Excel, MS Outlook and Word are required. Theatre operations experience is preferred. Bilingualism in both French and English is a requirement for this role.
