Cineplex Media currently has an opening in its Montreal office for the position of Account Manager, Quebec, reporting to the Director of Sales. This position will be based out of our Montreal Regional Office, 352. Rue emery, bureau 500, Montreal, Quebec H2X 1J1.
 
The Account Manager will work to maximize the revenue potential derived from the sale of multi media advertising vehicles within the Cineplex environment.
 
The key areas of responsibilities of this position include:
 
  • Maintain close relationships with existing clients/agencies and sustain client loyalty to the Company’s brand.
  • Extend the existing client base through the identification and pursuit of new clients/agencies.
  • Adopt aggressive strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Contribute positively to the efforts of the Sales team ensuring that the whole team’s goals are met.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain good, current understanding of media landscape locally, regionally and nationally. Participate in industry events actively pursuing new ideas and knowledge.
  • Prepare and execute client briefings and presentations using compiled research, pricing and other data.
 
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
 
  • Knowledgeable of advertising agencies and clients in various territories, including Quebec City and Montreal
  • Minimum of three years of media sales experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Superior computer skills (proficiency in MS-PowerPoint and MS-Excel).
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
  • Proficiency, both written and oral, in both the English and French language is a must.
