The Marketing department is pleased to announce this exciting opportunity for an outstanding bilingual Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, Quebec, reporting to the Marketing Manager, Quebec who will be an important contributor to the Marketing team at Cineplex Entertainment. This position will be based out of our Montreal Regional Office, 352, rue Emery, Suite 500, Montreal, Quebec H2X 1J1.

In this role the candidate will support the Quebec Marketing Manager in the development and execution of French online and social media campaigns as well as offering support on other offline regional marketing efforts. This includes:
The Development and Execution of Quebec Social Media Projects
Representing the Cineplex brand voice and related content across all French Social Media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Develop and execute day-to-day social media posts on the French social sites to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Maintaining and monitoring on-going conversations within the Cineplex French social sites.
Identify customer care issues/messages and interface with the Guest Experience team to respond.
Support the Quebec Marketing Manager in the development of integrated social media programs to support all Quebec marketing plans, Quebec film studio programs and 3rd party regional advertising partners.
Working cross-functionally to coordinate creative and promotional assets for Quebec social media marketing projects.
Tracking and analyzing performance of the sites and identifying new opportunities to engage users.
Online updates for Quebec Marketing department
Work collaboratively with the Interactive department to ensure Quebec Marketing priorities are properly managed and reflected on the French site.
Participate in production meetings to ensure Quebec projects are properly prioritized and reflected in the French digital sites
Support additional Quebec marketing initiatives
Support the Quebec Marketing Manager on all program communication to impacted parties (i.e. theatres, internal stakeholders, external partners)
Support the Quebec Marketing Manager on all Quebec Film Studio requests for marketing material placements in Quebec theatres.
Support the Quebec Marketing Manager on adapting and executing national programs for Quebec.
Support other Quebec marketing initiatives as requested
Light administrative tasks
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Candidate must be bilingual.
A Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Program or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications and/or Business and a minimum of 3 years of related Digital or Social Media Marketing experience.
Exemplary oral and written communication skills in both French and English, including writing, editing and proofreading experience. Candidate must be articulate and creative with a strong attention to detail
Highly engaged on key social channels (Facebook, Twitter) with a strong grasp on emerging/niche networks (Foursquare, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.)
Owns a smartphone
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload while multi-tasking in order to meet deadlines
Highly energetic team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Marketing team
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge and experience with various social media/marketing tools, techniques and monitoring tools including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, blogs, etc
Strong interest in and passion for marketing, social media and movies
