The receptionist will greet and welcome visitors to our firm, register all incoming visitors with the building security management system and answer and direct all incoming calls from our switchboard. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating travel, data entry, scheduling conference calls and meeting rooms, maintaining employee directories, assisting with hospitality services, filtering facility management requests and providing assistance to administrative staff as necessary. Event planning duties include coordinating large in-house and after-hours special events, suggesting vendors and providing pricing for various event needs and communicate event requirements with various departments. Some overtime may be required.
Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as possess good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. A minimum of four years of previous reception experience in a busy, mid-size corporate office setting, including managing a multi-line phone system, is required. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required. Associates degree strongly preferred; previous A/E experience a plus.
