||Reporting to the Customer Service Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct customer service at the City’s various facilities.
||The Recreation Services Clerk will be responsible for providing direct customer service including reception and sale transactions for programs, memberships and facilities. In person and phone business can be high during peak periods. The successful candidate will also be involved with a variety of tasks including cash balancing, file maintenance, acting as a liaison with various city staff, inputting statistical information and general clerical duties.
||We are in search of a dynamic, professional and positive individual with demonstrated experience in the following competencies: customer service, communication, teamwork, planning and organizing, initiative and flexibility. Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as knowledge of the CLASS software and recreation programs within the City of Burlington would be considered an asset.
The successful applicant may work up to 27 hours per week, shifts may be daytime, evenings and/or weekends, requiring an individual with flexible availability.
