||Service Centre Administrative Agent - Surrey (Temporary Part-Time)

BCAA's Surrey Service Centre is recruiting for a temporary part-time (20 hours or more per week) Service Centre Administrative Agent. As one of BCAA’s Member experience enablers, this position will provide accounting, administrative and clerical support for our service centre operations, and will support the service centre’s delivery of amazing Member experiences and growth of the Membership and Insurance business in order that BCAA be the most trusted organization in British Columbia.
|Key Responsibilities Include
Cash and credit card reconciliations and reporting
POS receipt and ICBC batching
Accounts receivables and payables
Meets all required BCAA and supplier audit standards
Answer inbound telephone calls:
Handle inbound calls within prescribed standards
Answer Member enquiries, concerns and direct calls to the appropriate team member when needed
Meet BCAA and CAA/AAA Member satisfaction standards
Serialized and non-serialized Inventory management, such as:
ICBC plates, decals and permits
International driving permits
Member and team member promotional items such as gift cards
Member entitlement products such as maps, tour books and camp guides
General clerical functions, such as
Team scheduling and time entry
Record retention such as document scanning
Manage office supplies
Mail sorting and distribution
Set up and take down of promotional materials and equipment during specified sales campaigns and on/off-site BCAA special events
Meets all required processing standards for storage, retrieval, confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness
Other duties as needed, such as:
Support the coordination of BCAA special events such as trade show and on/off-site Member events
Ensures the service centre’s waiting and retail areas meets BCAA’s Member experience standards
Greeting and reception duties, when co-workers are absent (welcoming incoming Members and thanking departing Members)
- Completion of Grade 12 and 6 to 12 months of post secondary education
- At least two years experience in accounting and administration and at least 6 months of direct experience with cash reconciliation and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including telephone skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Occasional lifting of 5 to 25 lbs
- Must successfully pass a background check, which may include a criminal, credit, and credential check.
- Level 1 insurance agent license
- Completion of Autoplan Essentials
