Our Road Assist Contact Centre is a 24/7 operation that supports the needs of BCAA members throughout the province of British Columbia. Currently, our Road Assist Department is accepting applicants for four Temporary Part-Time (20 or more hours per week for 5 months from May 2013 to September 2013) Customer Experience Representatives. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Reporting to the Manager, Member Experience, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering BCAA Roadside Assistance benefits and solving member mobility situations or needs, assisting members through the sales and renewal process, and presenting upgrade options based on specific member situational needs. Additionally, the position is instrumental in supporting the brand through lead generation focus for other BCAA products such as insurance and travel. In addition to a resume, candidates must present a cover letter that demonstrates and exemplifies the following: continious learning, customer service experience, and technology & phone communication skills. |

- Supporting BCAA Customer Brand by responding to additional BCAA product inquiries
- Supports the RACC team objectives and assists in CSR training

| Minimum Qualifications |
Education: Experience: - One year previous customer relationship experience in a sales and service environment
Skills: - Minimum keyboarding skills of 35 wpm and 5,000 keystrokes per hour
- Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shift combinations in a 24/7 operation
- Strong proven telephone communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a team environment
- Intermediate PC skills
- Demonstrated active listening skills
- Demonstrated multi-tasking abilities
Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check, which may include a criminal, credit, and credential check.
Preferred Qualifications: - Geographical knowledge of British Columbia
- Demonstrated ability to learn proprietary computer programs
- Demonstrated ability to generate product leads or sales based on customer centric principles
- Contact Centre experience
- One year post-secondary education
