BCAA's Surrey Service Centre has an opening for a permanent full-time Service Centre Greeter. As one of BCAA’s Member-facing team members, you are the first and last impression for every Member who enters and leaves our service centres. You support the financial growth of BCAA through the delivery of amazing Member experiences, every time. You enable BCAA to be the most trusted organization in British Columbia through positive brand impressions.

Within a retail sales environment, you are a caring professional who creates long lasting Member relationships through the following: 

• Welcome all incoming Members. Thank all departing Members.
• Manage incoming, waiting and departing Member traffic flow
• Promote BCAA products and develop business leads for the future
• Collect payments. Order and track inventory.
• Distribute Member entitlement products such as maps, tour books and camp guides
• Meet Member satisfaction goals
• Support the achievement of service centre financial targets
• Collaborate with a team who is passionate about igniting unparalleled Member loyalty

Education:

• Completion of Grade 12

Experience:

• At least two years of experience in reception, greeting and/or administration related duties

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including telephone skills

• Ability to work within a fast paced team environment. Demonstrated multi-tasking skills.

• Proven judgment and decision making abilities

• Ability to meet set customer satisfaction targets

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Frequent periods of sustained physical effort. Occasional lifting of event materials and equipment, between 5 and 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Super Host certification

• Level 1 insurance agent license

• Completion of Autoplan Essentials

• Demonstrated excellence in geographical knowledge of North America with good map reading skills
