Title Marketing Manager, Digital Media

Position Overview  
The Marketing Manager is responsible for 4 primary areas inside the Product Marketing Department:
  1. The Product Marketing, inclusive of lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns
  2. The Image Marketing, inclusive of branding and client appreciation activities
  3. The Market Research, inclusive of market analysis and insights
  4. The Thought Leadership, inclusive of overall product and company positioning
Product Marketing
  • Develops, plans and executes integrated marketing plans for EWMS product solutions as required; including
    • Marketing & sales collateral
    • Product sales presentations
    • Trade Show requirements
    • Media relations
    • Push marketing
    • Print & online advertising
  • Works with the Product Management team to develop a  product USP (unique selling proposition) and product positioning messaging hierarchy
  • Oversees the design and  production of all  product marketing materials
  • Works with Product Management to develop and provide sales support materials including product presentations and marketing collaterals
  • Liaises with external media representatives to guide the selection process for advertising (media purchase and creative development)
Image Marketing
  • Plans and supports Univeris participation and presence at various industry tradeshows and conferences
·         Oversees all aspects of and works with external suppliers on the development and maintenance of content for the corporate website
·         Maintains corporate communication standards and updates Univeris staff on requirements and templates
  • Ensures the positioning of Product solutions align with Corporate position and work with an overall Corporate framework
Market Research
·         Detect market trends and changes that affects Univeris eco-systems
·         Report changes within the competitive landscape and industry and adapt Univeris approach
·         Scan, report and act on noticeable market events
Thought Leadership
·         Lead the development of a Thought Leadership Framework
·         Drive the development of case studies, articles, speaking engagements, surveys and other tools.
·         Minimum 10 years experience in Marketing Management, with experience working for software vendor, B2B marketing and marketing 3.0.
·         Degree in marketing or business. Graduate degree in business is an asset
·         Demonstrated experience in B2B marketing in financial services and  software marketing
·         Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing plans with specific experience in advertising, collateral development, online marketing and event marketing.
·         Understanding of Canadian financial services industry, with specific emphasis on distribution of wealth products
·         Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of financial advisors
·         In depth knowledge of financial services distribution industry, particularly retail business represented by Investment Dealers and Brokers
·         Working knowledge of investment products, including funds, guaranteed investments, fixed income products, securities and insurance
·         Pragmatic Marketing Trained
·         Advanced knowledge of digital marketing
