||Marketing, Public Relations & Events Coordinator
||The successful candidate will support and monitor all general media programs and public relations issues for the
automotive department. This position also initiates all auto shows, dealer meetings, and special events.
||This position reports directly to the Product Planning & Marketing Manager within the automotive department and holds
the following responsibilities:
Strictly control and monitor all budgets for the automotive department.
Work with the department manager and advertising agency to ensure timely completion of projects and on
Develop, in conjunction with the department manager, dealer meetings, press events and cross sponsorship
Plan and oversee auto show events and corresponding budgets.
Co-ordinate all press kits for vehicles. Collaborate in the fleet selection and allocation process, place
orders, monitor and follow-up on delivery of units.
Contact and solicit, from a standard predetermined approved list, the required automotive journalists to test
drive SCI vehicles.
Administer the flow of press vehicles in order to ensure full usage of the vehicles by the press.
Monitor program and review published by the media, evaluate effectiveness and recommend any necessary
Coordinate and assist in the execution of Dealer/DAB meetings, press and other events as required:
- Collaborate on site planning and journalist selection
- Coordinate and arrange travel schedule and presentation material
- Communicate with appropriate personnel and corporate suppliers
- Attend events as one of our representatives
|| University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent College and work experience.
Minimum 3-4 years related work experience preferably within the automotive industry, distributor or tier 1
Computer skills – Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential.
Strong negotiation skills.
Must be organized and accurate.
Must be able to work independently.
