Would you like to become part of an innovative team focused on renewable energy and environmental change? Our client, a well established Canadian company is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their highly automated plant. In this role you will be responsible for leading a team in all production and quality issues. Customers’ satisfaction, scheduling, production of shift activity reports, ensuring machinery and equipment are safe and employees are trained and qualified, is your priority.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for Production Employees. You must monitor and respond to daily product and process concerns. Troubleshooting, quality standards and corrective action are key aspects of this position. We are seeking a goal oriented, motivated individual who is capable of fostering strong working relationships with his/her team. In this role you will also be responsible for aspects of the operation budget, performance evaluations and payroll deadlines.

| Requirements |
To qualify for the position you must have three+ years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment paired with a demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities. An engineering background will be an asset. Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office and e-mail are a must. A strong communicator with effective organizational and time management skills is needed. Some travel may be required. |
