Events Manager    
Reporting to the Senior Director, Membership and Educational Programs, the Events Manager is responsible for planning and executing events for the organization. He or she will manage all operational, implementation, and post event activities in addition to event related marketing programs and initiatives. The company’s events business is booming and thus we need more resources in this area.
  • Pre-event and post event communication with registrants and sponsors
  • Relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Represent and deliver service excellence that is in the keeping with the organization’s brand.
  • Work closely with internal and external planning committees and client groups to define event goals, objectives, and specific implementation plans that promote the organization’s brand.
  • Establish communication protocols and procedures with internal staff, sponsors, and event speakers
  • Optimize and manage the event registration process
  • Prepare event programs and confirm all necessary preparations are in order
  • Ensure events speakers are briefed and prepared to provide effective presentation materials

Marketing/Communications Full-Time
  • University Degree in business, marketing, or related field

  • 2 years in Event Management or related field
  • Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable, consistent, reliable, and courteous communication when dealing with other organizations.

Inside Sales Rep SF Bay Area California [CA]

We are looking for a proven closer as our first sales hire.  The company has accomplished great things based on grit, guerilla tactics and insight into the market via the experienced finance and treasury professionals on the core team. However, in order to accelerate our tremendous growth, it is time to bring in the talent that will help us get to the next level.  

 

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for growing our B2B Marketplace, which is where members of the Proformative community go to find the goods and services they require to run their businesses.   The Inside Sales Representative will help Proformative become the dominant player in serving the professional needs of corporate finance, accounting and treasury professionals.  Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, the responsibilities of this position will include development of an extensive pipeline, and closure of new business partners into the Proformative B2B Marketplace. 

 

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in telesales, and must understand the value of “lead generation” to prospective Proformative partners.  “Bonus points” for experience selling to business-to-business (B2B) product and service providers who sell into corporate finance/accounting/treasury professionals.
